The Event
Our story of celebrating Arab women began in 2014, when the London Arabia Organisation, alongside the Mayor of London, launched the Arab Women of the Year Awards. The event honours remarkable women worldwide, bringing the UK and Arab world together in recognition of their achievements. Ten years on, it remains London’s most prestigious award for Arab women, recognising both well-known and overlooked trailblazers. With no set categories, our Advisory Board carefully selects the most deserving winners from thousands of annual nominations, across all fields and backgrounds.

London Arabia is the leading body for connecting London with the Arab world. Our key activities include events, research, advocacy, education and membership. Collectively, we raise the standard of the engagement between the British capital and the Arab visitors– driving value for professionals and the organisations they serve.
We are driven by our values and have a strong commitment to social responsibility, women’s empowerment and bridging the perceived gap between the UK and Arab world, by strengthening cultural and business ties.
